I was introduced to Human Design on a summer evening in 2009, by a friend who sent me an email with a funny chart and a question mark. Clicking the link to the Jovian Archive site felt like stepping through the secret hole in the wall I've always longed to find.  A week later I was enrolled in Ra's reading clinic and got my chart overview. A few weeks later I attended my first food & transformation clinic with Ra. I remember looking at the slide with the table showing the different types of regimens and recognizing mine - even before the class started. I just knew because my body knew. Of course my mind wanted me to have other 'easier' food regimens - and that was the start of my PHS (Personal Health System) journey.

It took four more years to feel ready inside, to start eating according to my regimen with effortless commitment. Up until then I was zigzagging around the information and trying this and that. The shift took place in October 2013 during the third semester of my Differentiation Degree training, which focused on PHS. One afternoon I found myself walking into the food store with a completely different mindset that’s aligned with a body hunting for pure ingredients - my correct food regimen. It was exciting and deeply moving for me to get the 'go ahead' from my body and authority. Even my mind was excited by the new adventure and the new way of choosing food.

Of course my new eating regimen had a ripple effect on my partner's way of eating and the way we shared meals at home. My partner started observing his food regimen in his own way, crystalizing the manner in which strategy and authority works in relationships.

PHS is an adventure that's full of discoveries, including all the challenges that are rooted in years of food conditioning physically and socially. But it's not just about eating. PHS is a way of life that reflects our deepest nature. I've observed that once the body awakens to its senses the mind awakens to its intellectual brilliance, looking to understand and to participate in the transformation.

This is where you and I meet - on the differentiation journey.
